A Multilingual “TWICKER”

Well this Web-blog is about my life in the IT world and some personal opinions in others subjects. So let’s talk about what’s up in the IT world besides the fact that: IT Rocks!

Last time (about 2 years ago) I started talk about how to easy do a website I talk about the best ways WordPress (for beginners), Joomla (for advanced) and Drupal (for experts), even do since lots of new ways are out and about, still those 3 leading the world of website in the internet.

Let’s give to Cesar what is to Cesar, after all i went to College thanks to Microsoft founds,  ASP.NET is another very efficient way of doing a website, but that is not my specialty.  I still have the book 1.0 and with visual basic I did try couple times to make a website, without been very successful at it.

Contrary of WordPress and Joomla that I not only I did few successful website, but also become an expert and manage to teach others the how to?

What about Drupal? You may ask, well the first time I did a multilingual Drupal website took me about a month to finished, the second time a week, and yesterday I pull it out in a 6 hours stretch, multilingual is not easy and make it all work in a folder other than the main ex: oggimodels.com/webmaster instead of just oggimodels.com/ is even more tricky.

I become a “twicker” my own expression to call what I do, open source becomes a style of life for me back in 2002 when I start doing portals for churches (evangelists) and I use PHP-Nuke, before that I worked as a SEO with a group of people called Upper-World (animal rights) and with Convergence Internet that pull the Upper-World website out. I also was and still the CEO of the OGGIModels Project, I am an underdog nerveless, a pony tail and a long pinch and beard, and worked at about 100 different projects, until I got sick again and pull off everything to get myself back in track. Since a little bit more than a year, I am back and ready to kick butts, lol.  I try everything at lease once and keep the best tools for me and my clients and that since the late 90’s, I have seen website and tools come and go, I have predict who will become big or who will disappear fast. With time I become an expert of business in the internet, don’t do what I do, do what I say, a motto around here, I test for you new stuff and when I am ready I teach the how to used.

I help lots of translations from the PHP-Nuke portal to Spanish 7 or/and to French; I also help Facebook and Twitter lately, and I will help Drupal in few days I will subscribe to the team doing that, free and happy to help. My friends when they move furniture they always call me, I am often a helping hand that never ask anything in return, well respect and few likes here and there help my causes, lol. Even if I am a SEO I am also not the one who writes the texts especially in English, I have writers that do that part, words “twickers”, lol. We team up I search the keywords, do the drafts or they do it, etc.

I do leave a threesome; I go all day from Spanish, to French to English, back to French… I am sure you got he picture I do everything in 3, cook a dish, web program and VJ (video jockey) all at the same time, just today. I cook a Roast Beef, pull out a Drupal website & choose the songs for this afternoon/evening of the broadcast in Twitter @OGGIModels account. I can Web Design; Web Program & SEO (promote) a website.

Of course I don’t drink since my early 20’s and I don’t consume drugs that kill your brain cells, or any perhaps not even a joint anymore, lol and that helps. Half of my life I run, swim and bike, and now I walk & walk… that also help, but knowledge isn’t everything I have lots of imagination and that is prime if you ask me, I know people who knows so much more than I do, and all what they end up by doing is a copy exactly like the others creations.
